Day 2 - In Cochin
Morning, sightseeing tour of Cochin including The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica, originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, the Willingdon Island, named after Lord Willingdon, is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.
Evening : Kathakali dance show.

Day 3 - Drive to Kumarakom
Morning drive to Kumarakom near Kottayam and stay in one of the backwater resorts. The panoramic backwaters here offer an ideal retreat to enjoy nature at its best. |

Day free at Kumarakom to enjoy the scenic beauty of Vembanad Lake, or spending time at the world best Spa centre located inside the hotel. |

Day 4 - Kumarakom / Backwaters Cruise
Morning at leisure.
Noon, start a cruise in the backwaters of Kerala & Lake Vembanad in a traditional houseboat also known as Ketuvallam. All meals on board. At night boat shall be parked on one side to give you a sound sleep.

Day 5 - Houseboat Cruise
This cruise is designed to give one a fascinating insight into the life of a Keralan Backwater Villages. As your boat glides along the backwaters one can see the daily life in the backwater villages : the daily life in villages on narrow strips of land, fisherman fishing, children swimming & playing in the water, women doing their daily chores, mobile shops in tiny canoes, the cultivation of paddy & its harvesting, huge country barges ferrying the coconuts, rice, coir etc. people traveling to the mainland for work and numerous small market places, tiny temples & churches etc.
Note : The cruise commences at 1200 by 1300 hrs lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their fishing nets in the backwaters). On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast at around 0730 hrs and end by 0930 hrs chk-out at the Hotel jetty. |

Day 6 - Houseboat / Mararikulam
Morning check-out and drive to Marari beach, where you will stay at Marari Beach Resort a traditional kerala cottages have been crafted close to the beach, in short a beautiful beach holidays. |

Drive back to Cochin city.
